Good CRM projects revolve around existing software applications of which salespeople are familiar. Lotus Notes by IBM is one of leading corporate business e-mail systems and we were requested by management to design an application which would fit inside Notes. Although other CRM applications were considered for this new business division, salespeople and management did not want another application to learn and thus chose ACT! for Lotus Notes. Our in-house consulting team customized the application for our client and we were able to pull off some pretty sick reporting out of a system we had no experience with – a rarity!
